No account, no tracking

You do not need an account. Wikiseum uses no advertising, no analytics and no trackers, and sends no data about you to its maker. No cookies are set.

Connecting to Wikipedia

The app fetches articles, images and credits directly from your device from Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata. As with any website, those services see your IP address and what you request. The Wikimedia Foundation privacy policy applies to that: https://foundation.wikimedia.org/wiki/Policy:Privacy_policy. Wikiseum does not sit in between.

What stays on your device

Your favourites, the articles you saved for offline reading (with their pictures), whether sound is on or off, which language you chose, and which frame suits an article are stored only on your own device. They are sent nowhere. You can remove each item on the Favourites page, or erase everything by deleting the app.

Who is responsible

Wikiseum is a product of Trimodo (Chamber of Commerce no. 42187543).

Children

Wikiseum asks no one for personal data, children included.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date.
